?Question is why report ?buried? ?

Added on July 31, 2007

May we refer to the article ?Question is why report ?buried? when abused still need answers? in the Irish Independent dated 28th July 2007 in relation to Fr Moore?s report which is in the hands of the Ryan Commission.

It appears that the Ryan Commissions report is expected to be out around December 2007.

It?s quite clear that a true picture of what was known for several years about victims of institutional child abuse in the Department for Education and Science and the Department for Health and Children has not been delivered before the Ryan Commission, despite the testimonies of the Religious Orders and several former ministers and civil servants and the Secretary General including Bertie Ahern T.D.

We would expect that the Irish Human Rights Commission and many victims of institutional child abuse including journalists who read the Ryan Commissions report will compare its contents with the evidence of many victims of institutional child abuse that supports our views and concerns in relation to the Ryan Commission, the Redress Board, the legal profession, and the Religious Orders and the Government.

Albert King on behalf of Mary King. (victim of institutional child abuse).
