Deafening Silence from the Media on Nun?s Exoneration

The Let Our Voices Emerge Charity (L.O.V.E) demand the release of full and accurate details regarding the High Court award to Mr. Raymond Noctor for sexual and physical abuse in St. Joseph?s Industrial School, Kilkenny.

Mr. Noctor did testify that he was abused ? and as was reported ? he received ?370,000 for that.

But Mr. Noctor also testified that Sr. Joseph Conception, who was then manager of St. Joseph?s knew about the abuse, and that when he told her, and a local GP and Garda, he was told to go away and not be talking about it.

Is it that Mr. Noctor, in an effort to receive even more compensation, knowingly falsely accused Sr. Conception? She was named in the media a few weeks ago regarding her alleged knowledge, yet, in the same High Court case today 1st March that he received this award, the judge cleared Sr. Conception of this terrible allegation. This gentle, motherly Nun ? whom so many of the past residents of St. Joseph?s in Kilkenny keep in contact with (including Mr. Noctor), had to see herself named in the electronic and printed media, yet when her name is cleared ? not a word said.

We?re asking you in the name of the full truth, to release this so that a Sister, who has gone through so much, can see her name publicly cleared. Wording of the Court transcripts exonerates her.
