?Residential Institutions Redress Board?

Added on August 24, 2007

May we refer to the article ?Residential Institutions Redress Board? dated 23rd August 2007?

After reading its contents we would like to point out that many victims of institutional child abuse who have already attended the Redress Board have mixed feelings in the way that they were treated at the Redress Board.

It is our understanding that the Redress Board cannot address any issue of fault or negligence nor make any finding of fact relating to fault or negligence.

Therefore, neither the surviving child abusers, nor the undersigned on behalf of the institution, are in a position to offer evidence in person or in writing appropriate to the functions of the Redress Board.

In reality, it is not all what it seems at the Redress Board.

Albert King on behalf of Mary King. (victim of institutional child abuse).
