Media must be balanced in reporting sex abuse

FOR 10 years I worked as a Child Protection Social Worker with the HSE. The children I worked with were abused - principally by their fathers.

You may be astonished to hear that not one of these men were ever brought to justice.

I ask the question: why isn't there the same level of media coverage regarding this fact?

I would like to see a more balanced and responsible approach by the media in highlighting this very serious issue.
