Research study on Family Absence

Did you grow up in an Industrial school with no information about your family background and no contact with your family of origin during your childhood and in later life?
Did you find information about your family later in life?

Did you trace and find your family?

Did you reunite with your family?

Have you still no information about your family or no contact with them?

Would you like to share your story?

My name is Natalie Johnson and I am a Masters Research student from Trinity College Dublin.
I am interested in speaking with people about their experiences of growing up in Industrial Schools without family information or family contact during their childhoods and in later adult life.
There has been no research carried out before with people who grew up in this situation.
I believe what you have to say is very important, historically relevant and socially significant.
If you would like to more information about this research study or are interested in taking part in this research.
please contact me at my email address below.
Thank you
